  1. Actually there are two easy ways of lessening clutch lever action (pull) if it's a HD product. Easy pulls are available (changes the ramp angle that the ball bearings run on in the trans that actuate the pushrod) some pretty cheap, and then there are the counterweighted pressure plates that have vertually zero spring pressure at low rpm yet can handle 150 hp hi torque motors as the rpms force the weights outward pressing the clutch discs together. Pricey but really get the job done.


  2. The actuating pressure can't be easily changed but you can:

    lubricate the cable internally to reduce friction (ask at a bike shop for best lubricant to use or might be in manual)

    adjust clutch lever for maximum leverage: most can be moved inward for less "throw"

    make sure you are gripping close to the end with all your fingers

  3. Not clear what you mean, is the clutch lever too stiff?
