Question:

Can you mail a letter without an envelope, just folded in 3 (a family newletter really) throught the USPS?

I tried to look on their website but couldn't find it. I don't want to call and ask if someone on here knows!!!

Also, Is it less expensive??! =) I have over 100 to send...

  1. It will probably not be less expensive to mail, unless it is more than five sheets. Six sheets plus an envelope would weigh more than an ounce.

    Seal the letter at the bottom edge.

    The next time you are at the post office, ask the people who know.


  2. probably, postcards dont have envolopes, but u need a stamp of course

    and you need the address

  3. Check out your junk mail. They do it all the time.

  4. yes you can just make sure it is well sealed. It can easily get damaged at the post office if not well folded

  5. Yes you can if you seal it well. Make sure you address and stamp it.

  6. Yes you can, make sure you fold it and put a sticker to close it. It will be the same price. Best thing to do, scan it and send them through emails if they have email addresses. That is the cheapest, fastes, easiest way,  I hope this helps.
