Can you make RC gas?

Question

We have a hpi savage gas car and I live in the boonies and the hobbie shop was closed(they make their own hours) wondering if it could be made out of some type of gas or oil?

I've seen threads posted on various R/C forums about this. Never really read any of them though. Check some of the forums out. Radio Contril Zone, R/C Nitro Talk, R/C Tech and others are very helpful. Do a Google search on R/C forums. There are tons of them.
