You can, but it is still highly dangerous, and the flame can come back to the can and explode if you're not using a straw or something.

very dangerous because the two products are not designed to be on long enough to make a blowtorch functional.

The lighter is designed for quick lights and out.

The hairspray is not designed to be ignited and the can could explode when you release the button if the fire is still near the blow hole.

blow torches are cheap  to purchase and operate.

Yes but, it won't explode but if the plastic valve melts it won't go out and you will have a uncontrollable and large fire, maybe even a rocket.
