Can you make a flash document know the day of the week and show different stuff for a different day?

Question

I am not great at Adobe Flash CS3, but I want to make a document that will recognise which day of the week it is. THis is for a memo sort of thing. I programm it to show what stuff I need for which day and at a certain time each day it shows me that memo for the day. So for each day there would be a different memo. Is there any way to actually do this and if so how?

You should use PHP for that.

There should be a mechanism to mine the System Time.  If you can get that, you can break it down to day and use that info accordingly.
