Can you make a good life for yourself if you drop out of high school?

I'm almost 15 and I live in Australia. I go to a school where people expect everyone is to graduate high school and go onto university. My mother gave me the option of leaving school at the end of the year and it's something I've been considering for a while.

I want to go to university but I don't know if in the end all the hard work will be worth it.

Help please.

  1. There are more options available to people that have received higher education.  Put yourself in the shoes of an employer; if you have two candidates for a job and one completed high school and university while the other dropped out of high school, which would be more appealing?  Stick it out, at least through high school -- you will NEVER regret having an education and it will only open more doors.  You may want to consider what your longterm aspirations are.

  2. If money is of no concern and you want to be uneducated and poor, than go for it!  I wouldn't if I were you.  Things are different now then they were in the "old days"

  3. bad choice !

your not gonna get many jobs, and your lifes gonna practically stink,
