  1. you can make a webite without a domain and not pay anything but, you have to pay for a domain name. its usually like $20.

  2. You can have a 'yourname.co.cc' for free. Check out http://co.cc/.

Then you need to create an account with any of the free web hosters and host this .co.cc domian of yours. Check out http://x10hosting.com/. You would be required to create a 'yourname.x10hsoting.com' kinda domain there, but you can also host your .co.cc domain using this account.

Check out my site- http://arungopalan.co.cc/. The site has been created using the above two mentioned services.

  3. yes you can, you can get your free domain and hosting here:

  4. At the very least you'll have to pay for your domain name.  I know of places that will give you free hosting for your website and of web hosts that will give you a free domain with paid hosting services.  I just don't know of anyone offering free hosting AND a free domain name.

  5. yes www.dot.tk gives free adresses so your website will be .tk at the end.

  6. you can do it at freewebs, but it will say freewebs before your name.  www.freewebs.com/yourname  I don't know of any free one's thought with JUST your name.

  7. Domain names can be as cheap as $10 per year. Try www.godaddy.com

You can use your own computer, but it requires a high degree of knowledge to set things up so that you're not compromising your own security. Check a webhosting service instead.
