Even if you feel strongly against this theory, can you make a plausible argument otherwise?

  1. I guess that would be a little hard but you could really do it. People now a days, are just like them. They usually ignore whats right and wrong, block or hide what it is that their feeling, do crazy things whenever they get bored and have nothing to do, and most just don't care. They would do anything if it came to money or pressure from another and its getting worse everyday. Sad but true.

  2. If you think about it a sociopath is merely someone who does not follow the norms of society, so if society as a whole is shifting, or (what I think) splitting, a sociopath is someone who would be able to use who and what they need regardless.

  3. The only way is to think of the movie Idiocracy.

Only stupid people are breeding, and, thanks to the dumbing down of society due to the media, they are multiplying at an exponential rate. Eventually, everyone is dumb. When that happens, the sociopaths won't get locked up, and they'll even be praised by the idiots because ignorant people are only capable of solving problems through violence.

  4. As humans, we are seen as emotionally superior to most other animals because we can restrict our emotions. Suicide is a phenomenon solely exclusive to humans. To think that people could over ride their natural instinct to survive, is incredible.

We override most of our other instincts also. Our instinct to be afraid of the dark and (for men) our instinct to stay faithful. We over ride emotions that may be natural but are irrational or illogical, such a baseless jealousy or anger.

So, naturally, the next step would be restricting all emotions to make a completely unbiased decision, thus, sociopaths.

  5. a sociopath has no feels no empathy for others and are more than wiling to do whatever it takes to get to the top.

  6. Humans are evolving .Were do you think or how do you think this is going to happen

    were in are minds

how they are opening to more of what you will call it demenstions .

At first this is not goinIg to be easy for the mind it has one way of being programed and its concepts of right and wrong ,what we beleive is true are minds are going to open up to bigger sence of truth ,today people all over the world are just starting to evolve .there first symptoms are anxiety/ depression /there mood swings get out of wacked .But the world is depressing are evoling by medician and pills

  7. Well sure, getting rid of that pesky empathy/compassion thing and being able to act without guilt can get you to the top.  And if you are a male sociopath, you could spread your genes far and wide and feel no compunction with respect to sticking around and helping look after the kids.  I'm not sure how the female sociopath works into the equation.  Somebody has to take care of the little ones - I suppose the state could do that.  And, hey, we all know how good the state is at creating new sociopaths.  Certainly the world is moving more and more toward that dog eat dog mentality, so sociopathy will probably serve us well in the future.  You may be onto something . . .

  8. Absolutely!  With no remorse to hold them back, why wouldn't they thrive?  The only way they wouldn't is if people were to gang up on them, but our society isn't necessarily geared that way.  Using Enron or the current Countrywide housing mess as an example...what happens to the little people who did nothing wrong?  They are hosed.  Look at the heads of the corporations.....maybe a slap on the wrist here and there, but no serious ramifications to speak of.  Unless society gangs up on wrongdoers sociopaths will thrive and I see no angry mobs right now.

  9. I see only one way the sociopath will become the next step in the evolutionary ladder. For the bulk of human history the sociopath has been ejected from society. It was the sociopath that expanded man's horizons and caused man to spread everywhere upon this planet. It was he that became all the various races we have today.

When we again have new places to go, the sociopath will lead the way. Since these will be radically different environments than we have ever experienced  before, man will change and adapt to whatever environment he finds himself in. In this way, man, the sociopath, will evolve.
