Can you make an essay....... the title is MY FIVE DREAM DESTINATION?

My five dream destinations, huh?

Well, here goes:

# 5 Rio de Janeiro - I'm not much of a dancer but the beach scene and nightlife there is supposed to be world-class.  Add in the tropical climate and beautiful scenery and that's one heck of a travel destination.

# 4 Chicago - I've been hearing travel reviews from friends for years and I have yet to hear a bad word about the Windy City - with the possible exception of the weather in the colder months.  World-class restaurants, sports, museums and more bump this up to #4 on my list.  Don't forget to check out the view from the Sears Tower (tallest building in the US).  

# 3 Tokyo - Maybe there's another place where you can take in sumo wrestling, sit for fine sushi and saki, and wander around a metropolitan area with approximately 35 million people, but I have yet to hear about it.

# 2 Paris - I know, I know, obvious choice.  But really, if you've been there, you probably understand.  This really is a city where the food, art and culture are stunning.  The Eiffel Tower is supposedly the most visited site in the world.  The Basilque du Sacre-Coeur is a beautiful landmark which offers an amazing view of the city.  Did I mention the Louvre?  Hard to go wrong in Paris... if you can afford the prices, that is.

# 1 Kenya (Masai Mara National Reserve) - I couldn't put together a list without mentioning the Serengeti, 100 miles outside of Nairobi.  There are at least 450 species known in the area including lions, elephants, cheetas, zebras and more.  This destination is one of a kind.

Is this your homework....  or just a question....

Hmmm, my five dream destinations are:

1.  York, England.  Absolutely love the buildings, friendly people, history, buskers, Bettys and the nightlife.

2.  Great Ocean Road, Australia.  Gorgeous scenery, amazing road, rugged coastline.

3.  Fiji.  The best place to relax on a holiday.

4.  Disneyland.  Still makes me feel like a kid again.

5.  Paris, France.  The food, architecture, walks, dogs, wine, atmosphere - oh, la, la.
