Trying to find a cheap way to make an extensionair hose (one that will pump air into a bike tire for example). Is it possible to make it out of coaxial cable and if so how would I go about doing so?

  1. No. Coax is not designed to hold air. A bike tire can be in the 75 to 90 PSI range. That is a lot of pressure.

Why do you even need an extention?

  2. hi, peter.

  3. Not a good idea. Maybe if it is hooked up to a hand pump--not an air compressor.

Coax is not made to hold pressure, but to insulate.

  4. NO!!!!!!!!!

  5. NO
