  1. Of course you can. I made mine in such jars but my fav will be those essense of chicken glass jars cos I dont have any bab food jars.

  2. For sure you can. You can use any container available. Wash the jars and scald them.

stick the wicks to the bottom and use a toothpick to keep them upright. Pour the wax in to the shoulders of the jars (just below the lid rings) and let it cool. It will dip a bit as it cools in the middle near the wick, fill the little dip with more wax before it sets hard.

    Have lots of fun!!

  3. yeah why not go to a craft store and buy the candle wax melt it down and put it in the baby food jars you can put a scent in them and a color have fun

  4. why not your recycling and saving more money at the same time.

  5. Yes you can, just be careful not to "over wick" (don't use a wick size that is too big) and test burn every time!

Candle making is not really that hard, but you do have to be cautious (making candles involves high temperatures, flammable substances, and potentially harmful chemicals). The beginner should start with container candles (usually in tins or glass jars) as this will get you some experience working with waxes, wicks, dyes, and scents. Note that there are many different types of waxes (container, pillar, soy, gel) and scents (not all are all safe together). I would recommend that you look at some of the sites I provided links to, take a lesson, or buy an introduction book/video. There is a lot of good and bad information out there, please use caution.
