Can you make graphic designs on photoshop?

i was thinking going into taking graphic designing and wanted to know if adobe photoshop 7.0 can make really cool designs like hese ones:

You can create cool photo effects in photoshop, but just remember, when you are working in photoshop the images are raster- meaning like a picture. So if you enlarge raster images they decrease in resolution. If you are drawing illustrations or making a logo, always use illustrator because you can create vector art - meaning the art has points. You can enlarge vector are without it losing resolution.

Yes, photoshop is very capable of making graphic design.

You really need adobe illustrator. Photoshop is capable, but it's more for photo manipulation.

Yes, if you go into graphic design you will probably be using Photoshop. Maybe a later one, but Photoshop will do that. I wouldn't know how, though, I'm still learning. Lol. :)
