  1. Yes you can. They need to have more butter and milk added when heated up again.

  2. Make mashed potatoes even better a day ahead of time! Make refrigerator potatoes! Here's how:

Boil potatoes as you would for mashed potatoes (I use 5 lb of potatoes). Mash them up with a masher, but don't add milk or butter. Instead, add:

    8 oz. cream cheese

    8 oz. sour cream

    1 egg

    2 level teaspoons of salt

    1/4 t. pepper (optional)

    Your choice of seasonings...

I've used garlic powder, parsley, onion powder, chives.

Then, you can either put them in a casserole dish or a crockpot. Top with 3-4 tablespoons of butter (slice it all over potatoes) and a sprinkling of paprika.

    Put into fridge!

Then, the day you want to serve them, if you have them in the crockpot, cook 4 hours on high. If you have them in a casserole dish, bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.

Yummy! You don't have to serve gravy with these because they are full of flavor all by themselves!

  3. yeah but they need moreliquid added when reheating

best to make same day or boil your potatoes today then let sit out at room temperature and add hot milk butter to them before serving

  4. I'm going to say yes even though I'm not much of a cook.......lol.........but I don't see why you couldn't then just heat & serve the next day =)

  5. yes you can, make them the day before and then nuke them the day you are going to use them They also freeze very well and can be used at a later date, After I nuke then I add a little Butter to the for a better flavor.

  6. Of course u can cook them a day ahead of time. Alls u have to do is put them in the fridge and keep them refridgerated until u use them. But, they taste much better if you cook them right before you eat them! Hope this helped and I hope you pick me as best answer!

Oh and you need to add more butter and milk before you eat them if you cook them ahead of time. And you might wanna stir them!

  7. You can, but they taste much better when made at the time of the meal.

I suppose you could boil the potatoes and keep them cold overnight, heat them up and then add warm cream/butter or whatever you want to have in them.
