  1. No. you need dried marrowfat peas and small tub of bicarb steeped in water overnight, drained the following morning, rinsed and brought to the boil and simmered til tender.  With frozen peas you could make crushed pea puree where you cook frozen peas, drain, crush with potato masher and add a k**b of butter and some seasoning and mint sauce if you like.

  2. You can certainly use them.  Since all frozen veggies are lightly cooked and then flash frozen, most of the work is done.  Let th peas out on the counter until thawed...you can either boil or saute the heck out of them then mash OR you can maintain some integrity of the pea and cook only a minute or so then mash....but then they wouldn't be so mushy would they?  ;)

  3. make them warm n put them in them blender

  4. You can use them, either let them thaw in the fridge or  cook them in some water for 2-3 mins and mash

  5. Cook them normally then turn the heat down.

Now go and watch tv for a bit and "forget" about them.

It's one of the best mistakes I've ever made :)
