Can you make payments on penatly points from ICBC?

Question

We had a situation where a broker gave us false information so we found out that my H had only 7 years driving not the 10. My h got into an accident (minor) and we got charged penalty points because all of a sudden we found out that my hs insurance was discounted because we supposivly had 10 years. They said we have to pay 888 or $88 x 10 (icbc penalty is amount x 10) before we can get our car fixed. Is there not a payment plan? Our circumstance is different as we were victims of an false information employee. We are going after the company. But what options do we have for this?

not 100% sure some unknown things here but if it were me i would consult with a lawyer...one thing would be to talk to the (BBB) Better Business Bureau... hope this helps check out the BBB website below...good luck!!!
