  1. ok i use brown:) ok cover your eyelid in a light brown shimmer colour i use one from miss sporty. use a small roundy brush and dip it in a dark shimmery brown, i think the pots of stargazer powders are the best and sweep it in a sort of C shape above your other colour and use a little more at the sides. use a black liquid eyeliner to draw a line above you lashes, thicken it the further you get out and wing it a little. use a glittery grey eye pencil from borgeois makeup to fill in the inner of your eye. line along your lower eylid with black eyeliner and use the brown colour on a skinny brush to blend it in, then use curlers and mascara!!

  2. you could use a grey eyeshadow and a very dark brown eyeliner.

  3. Yes! I think this looks great =)

  4. Most colours, just use a lighter shade for the eyelid and the corner of the eye and a darker shade to smoke out the outer corners. Or use a grey, Silver,

  5. Smokey eyes? Wouldn't that require a fire.

  6. use cool colors- blue green purple brown

and do the same thing u did for black but maybe try different colored eyeliner

and find liquid eyeliner it pops out more

  7. I never use black to do smokey eyes, it's too harsh. I have hazel eyes and use a deep purple, a dark brown or even a realy deep pruple bordering on a petrol colour.

  8. jus find a different colord eyeliner

  9. It depends what colour of eyes you have.

For blue eyes, dark green is good.

For hazel eyes, brown is good.

For green eyes, purple is good.

For brown eyes, gold is good.

  12. Generally when you are going for the "smokey eye" you want to stick with dark neutral colors. But if you like more color then mess around with the eyeshadow color.

My fave combo is black eyeliner w/gray eye shadow. But if you don't look good w/ black just choose which ever dark neutral you look good with.

    1. line eyes w/eyeliner, line on both bottom and top, soften to line by smudging the outer corners of the eyeliner

    2. apply the same color eyeshadow on top of the eyeliner to soften it further and create more contrast.

3.then apply eyeshadow on your eyelid (suggest using charcoal shadows or browns)

if you are one of those people who need to see how it's done, check out these links (there are tons on youtube by the way)

  13. Use gray. I would try to explain it to you, but if it is misread, the results could be bad so I suggest going on a makeup site to see how the pros do it.

    Good luck.

  14. well just find a colour that maches you

  15. You can add some greys and blues in it as well!

Ooh, and smoky purple is beautiful also.

    This explains it better than just words on how to do it;

If that one didn't help, look at the related videos!

I suggest trying black again, too, but in a different way. experiment a little more. Spend a while in front of the mirror without going out anywhere.
