Question:

Can you make some game recommendations for me?

I have been considering getting a Wii, the thing that's holding me back most is cost.

If I do decide to go forward, I was interested in getting games that use a lot of movement, like way more than the Wii bowling that I tried the other night, but the DDR was a little too "girly" for my taste. I'm not really into video games, so I have no idea what would be fun and good. I need a game that is fairly simple, but still fun. I'm a StarWars nerd, I'm wondering if anyone likes the Lightsaber Duels game?

Should I consider other consoles besides the Wii? I like that you actually have to get up off the couch to play it.

Any recommendations you could give would be very much appreciated.

  1. There actually aren't very many Wii games that are heavy with motion control yet of a good quality. Most come across as gimmicky and rushed. WarioWare: Smooth Moves is a fantastic title that requires a good amount of motion. Obviously, Wii Fit requires a lot of movement as it's fundamentally a game designed to get the user more active. Rayman Raving Rabbids is also good, but it's not great. Its forthcoming second sequel, Rayman Raving Rabbids: TV Party looks very promising as well.

  2. if your getting a wii and you want game choices, then WarioWare ?smooth moves? is the one you want base on your "tastes" >:P also i Reccomend dragon quest because of its sword gameplay (I think its dragon quest)

  3. legend of zelda: twilight princess, wii sports, mario kart, or anything fun since there are quite a few games available.
