Is there anyway to mod a Co2 pistol to make it use a 9-oz Co2 tank?

  1. Well, yes, IF....

....If you can find a Japanese CO2 hose type adapter that replaces a standard CO2 powerlet. These were made by the Japanese Airgun company Maruzen. They use a hose that trails from the gun to a belt-mounted CO2 tank. I have no idea where you might find one of these since http://www.endoshoji.com stopped working.

    Good luck and happy hunting.

  2. I haven't found an adapter to do what your talking about but i would think that this would be totally possible to do yourself. It would require you to drill a hole in a totally empty CO2 cartridge. Next you would need to know the type of thread you have on the feed line and get a tap for that thread pitch and thread the hole you put in the side of the CO2 cartridge. once the CO2 cartridge is in it's proper place in the weapon thread the feed line from the 9oz tank into it but make sure that you put tefflon tape around the threads before tightening the line. Once it's assembled slowly open the valve on the 9oz tank and check it for leaks. * Please note what I'm saying is only a theory and hasn't been tested so please use caution!
