Can you make your own donation jar?

you know how you walk in to the store or gas station can you make and you see a jar full of money for lets say a kid with cancer...can you do that for another cause...or how do you go about getting it set up...

All store managers agree to do this for Student fundraisers and for people who were hurt in accidents.  Just remember to collect them regularly. /

First you need to file the paper work for a nonprofit taxpayer ID number.  Next, open a bank account in the name of the nonprofit.  Then this information is presented to shopkeepers when asking permission to place the jars.
