If the cruise line knows the two of you met on the cruise you are in danger of that person getting fired. If you are marrying a person after meeting them on a week long cruise you should instead be asking if you should be marrying this person.. there is nothing wrong with being smart, protecting yourself, and dating someone for awhile first.

I would say not.  Employees are not supposed to get "romantic" with customers.  Besides...how long of a cruise are you going on...that would be a pretty short engagement..oh..becareful for those who are just looking for green cards.

Yes you can. The only policy for cruise ship crew members interacting with passengers applies during the cruise. What they do with their private lives won't jeopardize their employment.
