  1. Having been in the business for years, I've seen people confuse some of the weirdest things for bugs of all nature. So I guess my answer is yes, someone without the knowledge of what either a termite or roach looks like, may get the two confused.

  3. Well, seeing as how a "roche" is the French word for "rock," I think that perhaps if you were three sheets to the wind, you might mistake a small insect for a rock.

    If in typing "roche" you actually meant to say "roach," as in "cockroach" (but fell slightly short of your goal), so that your question is instead "Can you mistake termite[s] for [roaches]?" then I maintain that you could only do so if you were under the influence of certain substances. They look quite different, mate.
