Can you mix an herb called Kava Kava and a prescription drug Xanax ?

I would not advice that, kava kava is a natural Valium like plant and xanax is a antidepressant which would not be a good mix.

I agree with loved1 not a good mix, also not a good mix with medications for balancing bi-polar episodes. (personal experience....suicidal tendency can be a side effect of this mix)
