  1. Yup.

I will go in order of best chances for medal.

Ryan Resser: 73kg, this is Ryan's 1st Olympics, but he has been alternate for two behind Jimmy Pedro. He is really one of the better players out there, and his weight division isn't as strong as years past.

Brian Olson: 90kg. This is Brian's 4th Olympic appearance, the past two US Judokas who made their 4th Olympic teams medalled, (Jimmy Pedro and Scott Morris), he has been favored in the past, and I would normally put him in the top of the list, but he has taken 2 years off, and really just got back to the world level last year. But still he has a good chance, provided Hunzinga does badly, as he is the favorite.

Ronda Rousey (female) 70kg. This is Ronda's 2nd Olympics, she is coming off a Silver in the World's last year, and stands a strong chance to medal, her weight division is pretty wide open as no real top contenders.

Taraje Murray-Williams: 60kg. THis is Taraje's 3rd Olympic appearance, however he is in a weight class that his highly dominated by the Japanese, and Taraje hasn't done good in Worlds, it will be tough for him.

Valerie Gotay:(female) 57kg. This is Valerie's 2nd Olympics, she is a solid player, however again this is a division dominated by Japanese women, and at 35 it is going to be a tough go for her. We wish her the best.

Sayaka Matsumoto: Female, 48kg. This is her fist Olympics though she was an alternate last year. Don't know a lot about her, but she does have some international experience.

Taylor Takata: 66kg. Rising star in Judo, this is his first Olympic appearance, he has done well in International competetion as a Junior.

Adler Volmar: 100kg, this is his 2nd Olympics (his first was representing Haiti. He is filling the spot that Ato Hand, and Rhadi Ferguson have left behind. He hasn't had terrific showings in internation competetion, and the 100kg division is good, fortunately Inoue has retired, but there are still some powerhouses out there.

Tavis Stevens: 81kg, this is Travis's first Olympic appearance, he too is a rising star, especially having beaten out Aaron Cohen. He has done great at the Pan Ams, lets hope he can keep his momentum rolling.

Daniel McCormick: Open. This is Daniel's first Olympics, he beat out Kirk Hoffman. He has done ok in international division, he is coming off an injury, and lacks solid international play such as the Worlds. That and the fact that the french have a great new heavyweight, and the Japanese are fielding a phenom, it is going to be hard going for him.

    How is that?
