Can you name me 3 Elizabethan appetizers? HELP NOW PLEASE!?

I've been googling it. I can't find any!

All I need is just 3 appetizers that would be on an Elizabethan time period menu in a resaturant or hotel.

Also, please give me the link of your source! I need to know you didn't make it up!

  1. It has nothing to do with sources so much as reading books set in this time. Soups and broths made of root vegetables and meat (obviously English origin) were popular, as well as pies made of pigeon and other small game birds, and savory jellies (cow's heel). Fish was plentiful too - aspics and pies. If you google Shakespearean food, you'll get some answers.
