  1. samoa joe

    MisChif

TNA has better chix then the WWE will ever have the brains 2 hire 4 fightin skils than hotness

  2. Before other users might want to say AJ styles or Samoa Joe, they did in fact wrestler in WWE briefly. Go ahead and youtube it..

    Nick Bockwinkle

    Mistico

    Hijo del Santo

    Keiji Mutoh aka Muta

  3. Danielson, Samoa Joe and Low Ki have all been in the WWE, actually. Danielson wrestled Cena on Velocity, as a matter fo fact. Same with Styles and Alex Shelley.

How about the two men who are considered the greatest of all time by Ric Flair? Kenta Kobashi and Mitsuahru Misawa. Oh, and Toshiaki Kawada.

Here's a good way of explaining these men to you. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Kobashi has had twenty-four five-star matches. Misawa has had twenty. Kawada has had seventeen. The WWE has had four.

Also, Jumbo Tsuruta, Tatsumi "The Dragon" Fujinami,Great Muta, Jushin "Thunder" Liger (the greatest cruiserweight ever), KENTA, Marufuji, Mistico, Takuya Sugi...I could go on.

Most of the above guys have wrestled in the USA, btw, or have wrestled big-name American wreslters, and were all around when WWE was the biggest promotion in the world. Fujinama traded the world title with Ric Flair, Tsuruta drew with Flair over the title back in 82, Liger's worked in WCW and TNA, Kobashi destroyed Joe in a five-star match in ROH and has wrestled numerous Americans for the Triple Crown title, same with Misawa and Kawada. Muta feuded with Flair and Sting in the NWA, and KENTA and maybe Marufuji have worked great matches in ROH- KENTA's match with Low Ki is a classic.

Mike Quackenbush is another. The Briscoes are considered the greatest tag team in the world. Not sure if Homicide's been there, but I'll bring him up too. Same with Chris Sabin.

The king of the lariat, Nigel McGuiness, the king of the Swiss uppercut, Claudio Castagnoli (he was signed, not sure whetehr he competed), the king of the backbreaker, Roderick Strong. Jun Akiyama, Akira Taue, Hayabusa.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. :)

EDIT: I actually only included A.J. Styles, Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe, Alex Shelley and Low-Ki here because I took the question to mean I have to name wrestlers who were never CONTRACTED to the WWE. Taken care of, thanks.

  9. Sting was in the WWF.  (And very briefly one of the Four Horsemen.)

  10. Kevin Von Erich was one of the most popular wrestlers to have never worked for WWE.

Nikita Koloff was another popular wrestler that turned down WWE. McMahon actually tried to steal him from the NWA while his popularity was sky high.

Chris Adams was one of the best heels that the industry has ever seen. He didn't work for WWE either.
