  3. I suggest you get a tachikara indoor volleyball.  We used them in middle school, and we also use them in high school.  They are great.

  4. i say tachikara volleyballs are the best :]

    try one.

  5. I've used many volleyballs and this one is by far my favorite :D

  6. The official ball in the US for girls is a Molten Super Touch and for boys is a Molten Pro Touch.  It is important to buy for what you're going to be using it for.  Indoor and outdoor balls are very different.  I would highly suggest the Moltens for you since it will most likely be the ball used.  It's what's used at the highest levels and is a really good ball.  There are some on ebay and all over the internet definitely for under $50.  Just make sure it's a leather one, not a composite or synthetic one.

Let me know if you have more questions.

  7. From the Sports Authority web site, I looked at several.

Tachikara SV-5WH NFHS Top Grade Leather Indoor Volleyball is $49.99 and is the ball your daughter will most likely use during the school year.

Tachikara SV18L NFHS Leather Indoor Volleyball is second most likely for the school year.

As recommended above, the Molten Super Touch will be used by your daughter if she plays club starting late fall.  The only volleyball that Sports Authority carries is the Pro Touch used by the men.

If you do not like any of these, get leather and not the imitation leather or rubber.  Get the indoor volleyball.  There is a lot of difference between the indoor and outdoor volleyballs.  If you get a good leather volleyball, make sure she stays indoors with it.  If she insists on going outside with it, go ahead and get a leather outdoor volleyball like the Wilson Official AVP Game Volleyball.

  8. At my club, we use molten super touch, the official volleyball of USA Volleyball, and i love them.

here's one off the molten site for $70:

    here's one off a site i found it's only $50:

and some others for just $44:

hope one of these sites works!
