Look at 2 players above... which one should be AL ROY? player #1 has 19 homers and a .274 avg. Player 2 has 1/2 the ab, but a much higher avg.

Player 1 is Longoria and yes, I'd say he gets ROY, but don't overlook #2.... can you guess who it is?

the reason he has a higher average is because he has less at bats to lower his average in.  Longoria has the ROY wrapped up.
