Can you need glasses with out the shape of you eyes changing?

my eyes feel sore every time im on the computer . its acing round the sockets of my eyes

  1. I think so; I've heard of continuous eye strain causing a need for glasses.  BUT you can't tell if the shape of your eyes is changing--it's the shape of the entire eyeball itself within your skull that determines your vision.

You may need glasses, but that feeling is completely normal.  Your eyes have to focus differently staring at the bright lights of a computer screen over looking elsewhere.  Make sure the rest of the lighting in the room is adequate, and that will help.  But your eyes are probably under-converging.  Go see your eye doctor to get a normal exam and let them know about this.  They may prescribe glasses for computer use, or they may give you exercises to help strengthen your eye muscles so you don't have as many problems.
