Can you open a franchise with little to no money?

Yes and no.  If your going to open up a traditional franchise then no.  That would be a lot of money.  You have a building to rent or lease out, equipment to buy, employees to hire, utilities to pay for each month, the whole nine yards.  Your looking at minimal of 50 to 80 grand for a small franchise to go into.  But, if you go into a business within a business and run it out of your home, then your looking at $500 or less.  As far as opining up a franchise for no money, sorry that won't happen!  Try going to a McDonald's owner and ask them if you can have their business for free?  They will laugh at you!

No.  A franchise requires a very large investment, you are essentially buying yourself a job.  Most franchises tell you exactly how to run it, when you can take your holidays, how many employees to hire, how many hours are required of you, etc.  Most don't see a return at all the first year so you need to have cash-flow to live on until you start earning money.

    I personally don't see the attraction to that.
