I read here about how you can't order from Drive Thru when you are not in a car, but can you order when on bicycle?

  1. No. The restaraunt does not want to deal with the liability issues of having bicyclists getting hit by cars.

  2. Well, you can if it's a motorcycle/scooter but I've never seen anyone on a bicycle and I'm pretty sure you can't. It would be easier to just get off your bike and go inside, but if you're really bored and curious you could always try riding through the drive through and see what happens ;)

Just make sure it's not around lunch time because you might p**s off a lot of motorists.

  3. No, I don't think the weight from the bike is heavy enough to set off the alarm for the drive thru. Even if it is...they won't serve you.

  4. No. You cannot order anything at a drive-thru on a bicycle.

  5. No. For your own protection....they would like you to get off your bike and walk in. It would suck if you got hit by another car in drive thru.....hense the term "drive".

  6. Excellent question.  In my area, it's against the law to order Fast Food unless you are in a motorized vehicle.  With more and more people riding bikes, my guess is that they will need to amend the rules and allow bicycles now too.
