Can you paint a KitchenAid stand mixer?

I can't find the colour I want. Could I have it painted, maybe at an automotive shop?

it is possible to paint it.  it'll take some work to do it but if your willing to do it then, go for it.  what u want to do is look for acrilic paint. and get a small airbrush kit.  you can pick these up at any hobby store.  you can go for the air brush compressure or  u can get  a can of spray air.  you can find these in like the modle ailse.  after you get ur color and spray method comes the fun part!  ur goingot have to take the mixer apart! or tape everything that you dont want painted.

before you go doing this you might want to get used to using the spray.  pratice on like milk jugs or anything that is plastic.  they for you wont be disapoionted when you paint your mixer.
