I saw on those HGTV & TLC shows how you can paint your walls with polyurethane & make stripes, but i was nervous to do it because i didnt know if i would be able to paint over it if we moved or wanted to change the color. does anyone know if a primer would work or anything else?

  1. Sure you can. Ask at the home improvement store for a high quality primer that is designed to go over glossy paint. The new paint will slide off of a glossy surface like polyurethane so you need a good primer. Good luck!! : )
