  1. Yes, you can.

I think if there is no sign specifically indicating that that you cannot park there, it's a neglect on the Council's part and it's as good as saying the single yellow line does not exist.

  2. Yes you probably can, but beware the jobsworth parking gestapo who know all the rules, or they think they do

  3. no signs visible - doesnt mean they havent been stolen / vandalised removed.

So yes you can , and if you get prosecuted, contest the ticket.....

  4. as long as you stay within traffic regulations then yes ie parking too  near junctions  and lighting laws when its darkhttp://www.direct.gov.uk/en/TravelAndTra... check this site

  5. There will be signs somewhere, it's possibly a controlled parking zone, the signs will be posted on the main roads entering the area.

Many towns and cities use that system. If there's a line, there will be a sign.

  6. You can park on them full stop after 6:30!

just make sure you dont park in the middle of the street!, you can still be done for obstruction!

  7. I am sure u can!

  8. Yes. If you check your Highway Code you will see that this is allowed

Howver there must have been signs. They have to be placed wherever there are yellow lines.
