Can you participate in USATF without being part of a club??

(usa track and field) For the youth division...is it possible to compete without being with a club but can you just sign up for races and championships (training by yourself) and be unattached?...if so...how would that work??

please help

  1. Lots of people run unattached.

    In the summer when many children are visiting their other parent they run in a different association from where the live and go to school.

    These people must run unattached.

    If you can not navigate the web site contact the membership chair in your association for help. If you don't know your association you can look it up on the national web site.


  2. Absolutely!  Go to the USATF website and register yourself individually.  If it still asks for a club name and number and you can't get around it don't hesitate to contact USATF for directions in this matter.

  3. ya you just have to register with usatf. and then i think where it says club name or something just dont put anything, or unattached.
