Name one thing that you have noticed change.

If you asked me I say it's getting colder and that the climate has calmed down allot. There has been far less hurricanes and tropical storms. Winters have been allot colder this last year.

  1. I agree with you. If we were to be living with horses and no cars, and no pollution at all, the earth would still warm up people. it goes through cycles, it freezes over, it warms up. And all over again. Don't tell me how to live my life either.

  2. yes

  3. yes, you might not notice it of where you live but check it out online

the reduction of Glacier sizes and just in general. I live in CO, many of the Glaciers that are year round here are continuously shrinking not to mention gone. just take a look at glaciers in the states, many of them in the states have shrunk if not already a puddle of water.

Nonetheless, general location is going to have an impact on temps.

  4. i thought i had an answer for you on a personal level but it turned out to be just another hot flash. sorry.

  5. Scientific proof consists of measurements by instruments, not how people feel.  Like this:

discussed in detail, with confirmation, at:

  6. Mounting evidence continues to indicate that human activities have begun to impact the earth’s climate through the release of greenhouse gases. Ice core studies show carbon dioxide and methane are at their greatest levels within the last 650,000 years.

Even if climate does not evolve as expected, taking steps to combat global climate change will yield long-term benefits to our society and economy through reduced losses to existing climate and weather threats and cost-savings through reduced energy use. If climate does evolve as expected, those who prepare will be better positioned to adapt to those changes without rapid social upheaval. Furthermore, building resilience to climate and weather events will help provide a relative advantage to in attracting businesses dependent upon a continuous water supply.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg, so to speak.

The site below is based in Alaska and begs to differ with you on the situation there.

Edit: Bad form in the answer with the NAS reference.  From the NAS site, the 2nd link below:

'The role of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) in warming the Earth’s surface was first demonstrated by Swedish scientist Svante Arrhenius more than 100 years ago. Scientific data have since established that, for hundreds of thousands of years, changes in temperature have closely tracked with atmospheric CO2 concentrations. The burning of fossil fuels (oil, natural gas, and coal) releases carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. About 80% of the energy used in the United States is derived from fossil fuels. The recent rapid rise in both surface temperature and CO2 is one of the indications that humans are responsible for some of this unusual warmth.

  7. Temperatures are Cooling and Glaciers are growing

  8. No, as a non-climatologist and a non-expert in global temperature change, I cannot point out evidence for global warming.
