Can you place an eye lag for a hanging hammock on a sloped ceiling?

Of course, as long as it's in a stud beam? I want to hang a baby hammock near our bed, but our ceiling is sloped. Can those eye lags hold weight if a thing is hung from it at an angle?

It's a hammock that hangs just from one point like a hammock chair, not from two posts. A frame is another possibility, but I worry that it wouldn't have the same range of motion and well, a frame is just bulky and expensive.

The slope of the ceiling doesn't matter. What is important is that you put the eye lag into a ceiling beam...and straight into the beam.  This usually means putting it perpendicular to the ceiling, rather than straight vertically. Be SURE that the lag is large enough for the intended weight...and that it goes through the center of the beam...if it is near the edge, it can split the beam and pull out. You should pre-drill the hole, and it will help to put some soap [bar or liquid] on the thread before installing the lag.
