Can you plant Lily and Glad bulbs in the fall (for spring growth) in zone 6?

I have a bunch of mixed lily bulbs that need to go in the ground, they are already sprouting little plants from the bulbs. Should I plant them now even though it will be cold in a couple months or wait until later in the fall? if I wait until later in the fall should I cut off the little plants that are sprouting from the bulbs?

The glads are not sprouting plants from them but can I plant them in the fall for spring growth?

Thank you!

  1. You should only plant the lily bulbs.  Glads aren't hardy in zone 6, store Them in your garage or basement. plant them next spring.
