Can you play 2 players on the psp?

If i buy a psp,can i play 2 players mode because i kind of want to challenge my dad on a game of football,so if i buy it and play a football match can you play the 2player mode on 1 psp?

No, you have to have 2 psps and 2 copies of the game. And you have to be next to eachother when you play on multiplayer.
