  1. yeah just get a  gfci so if water get in the outlet it will turn off and not electrocute you. Not recommended though

  2. Well, prince did it at the Superbowl a couple years ago, and i play guitar but never in the rain... SO i guess you can because he is still alive

  3. If you are tired of living yes. On the other hand, you won't last 5 second if you have nothing over your head.

As long as you have a roof, their is no problem. Otherwise, don't try it.  The jolt is quite powerful.

  4. Yes you can.

During one of my shows, we were at an open stage, and it started raining hard. I had no tent over me whatsoever, it didn't ruin anything on the guitar, and it looked pretty cool, especially during my solo. It sounded like it messed up our mics though, so that wasn't very good, but it was fun, you could see the water go up as my drummer was playing.

Another example is the band, Slayer. During their live performance of "Raining blood", they have a sprinkler system on the ceiling, and during mid to the end of the song, you could see, and feel fake blood literally raining, it was cool.

As long as you keep the electronic part dry, go for it. Hook it up to a couple of Marshall stacks, and start playing a solo. It's really fun to do.

  5. To the best of my knowledge, electricity and water don't mix very well.  I would not attempt it.

  6. No, is very dangerous, it could give a shock or explode like Metallica's first bass player (not CB).

  7. Yep.... as long as ya got a tent over you.

No tent... then yeah you can still do it if you dont care about your equipment.
