Can you play The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition with a Wii Classic Controller?

I know that Gamecube games should be played with a GCN controller, but since the game was originally made for N64, I want to use my Classic Controller like I do with all of my N64 Virtual Console games. I remember playing it on my Gamecube and the controls were confusing.

The Collector's Edition is a Gamecube game, so it uses a Gamecube controller. The fact that a couple of the games on the disc were originally N64 games is irrelevant.

If you want to play Ocarina of Time with the Classic Controller, download it from the Virtual Console.
