  1. yes it just gets boring

  2. You sure can and you sure should.  It is the best time to work on your game and get yourself ready for when you play with your friends and show em what you got...

  3. I go by myself to work on things all the time.

  4. During the summer months after work I will drive over to the local course and walk 9 holes by myself.  It can be a very rewarding and relaxing time.

  5. If you're trying to book in advance, most courses require at least two people. Some courses will let you book a tee time as a single, but will hook you up with another group.

It also depends greatly on the day of the week and the time of day.

Call the course and ask what their policy is.

  6. You can golf alone. I think it's more fun if you have someone to compete against though.

  7. can you eat a muffin by yourself

    yes

  8. Sure. Its just more fun with friends.

  9. Most courses require at least a 3-some to book a tee time.

Most courses will not allow a single golfer on the course if there are multiple people waiting to play. they'll usually match you up with a few people.

If there is no one else waiting to play, or very few people waiting, yes, you can play a round as a single.

  10. Absolutely.  Sometimes I take a day off during the week when I know the course isn't busy.  It's a great opportunity to practice shots that have been giving you trouble.  If you hit a lousy shot and it's not busy, drop another ball and hit again until you work out the kinks.

  11. yeah of corse you can go alone

have fun but invite some friends

  12. You can show up as a single and they will pair you with another single, two sum , or three sum

Most courses won't give a separate tee time to a single. they will book you with other people

  13. Yes, but it depends on the popularity of the course.  A public course ran by the city won't have the availability on the weekend for a single to play unless you just get lucky.  During the week, you would have more opportunity before 3pm or whenever people get off work.  A course in a residential community have more opportunity to play by yourself during the week too as well as early weekend days.  Just have to be choosy about the courses you play if you want to play alone.
