  1. Witch/wizard (Harry Potter)

    Fairy (Sleeping Beauty)

    Where's Wally?

    Pirate

    Any disney character.

  2. Percy the Park Keeper, trousers, waistcoat and cap and a toy wheelbarrow.

  3. they have tinker bell!

  4. One year I made a red cape out of those heavy paper tablecloths you get in supermarkets and carried a basket and went as red riding hood to the infant school I worked at.

  5. Does your child have a favourite book? If they dogo through the pages and let your child choose a character and then you can look in wardrobe or see if there's any old sheets/materials in charity shops.

If they dont really have a favourite then well known characters like peter pan or tinker bell, Harry Potter or another disney character. Or u can have a look through your childs books yourself for easy options :)

  6. I am a teacher and I am going as the bad tempered lady bird. Easy costume- black tights with black shorts to hide modesty. Red jumper- quite long if poss. Black head band with pipe cleaners for feelers. Use black electrical tape (from DIY shop) to mask a long black line down middle of back and make some large dots using tape too. Walk round all day with grumpy face....ta dah! Bad tempered ladybird.

  7. Aw i hate it when schools do this!! Horrid Henry is always a simple one for a boy and girls just dress them in a fairy dress and let them be a princess

  8. There are a ton of outfits to choose from...maybe try an internet website:

Little girls would love to go as a fairytale character such as alice in wonderland: http://halloweencostumes4kids.com/pages/...

Just think of the number of movies that were once books and you could go as anything out of that.

  9. let us know - is it a boy or girl - and let us know some of their favorite books, then we can help you make the outfit...

  10. girl - tinkerbell, hermione, pippy longstockings

boy - peter pan, harry potter

  11. do wat u like most

  12. Halloween costumes come in storybook characters.

    Cinderella

    Sleeping Beauty

    Sponge Bob

If you have a bear costume the child can be Brown Bear or Little Bear.

If you have a cat costume the child can be the Cat in the Hat or a kitten from The Three Little Kittens.

A Monkey costume makes Curious George.

What books are favorites with your child?

You can dress the child as the Runaway Bunny by getting a rabbit ears headband in the Easter section of most stores. Put on some white one piece pajamas and you are ready to go.

If a boy, he can dress as Cailou wearing a white T-shirt and blue shorts.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar - caterpillar or butterfly

    Little Critter - bib overalls

The Very Busy Spider - spider

    Old McDonald - a farmer

Angelina Ballerina- a mouse in a tutu

Just off the top of my head.

  13. Fox in socks. Put socks on your hands and feet and paint whiskers on your face.

  14. Ask your child what her favorite book is first! Then, if the character is clearly described or if there is a picture of him/her, dress your kid up like that.

  15. it depends on what your child likes and what resources you have available. it can be as simple as our child wearing the same color clothes the book character wears. or you can make or buy a more complicated costume. If the character is an animal, you can use face paint to paint whskers, a nose, and stripes or spots. Have fun!
