Can you please help? Hes such a jerk.

ok so my dad is a jerk...like a real one. I didnt really do anything today and my sister and my mom went to this play...so my dad was home with me and he was bugging me really bad so i just like stayed in my room the whole day. So then when my sister and mom come home my sister is like: do u want to go to the movies with me and my friend? I didnt want to go but then my mom comes in the room and is like: your dad is saying im selfish and is mad at me because i went to the play and you didnt do anything...

what should I do? im not going to the movie and i told my dad I dont want to go but hes still a jerk to my mom behind my back...and when i come into the room hes all sweet and stuff to me. I hate it. What should I do?...i dont think theres any advice you could give me, i just wanted to get it off my chest.

You should try asking your father.  He likely doesn't realize how he's coming across to you and hasn't a clue as to why you isolated yourself today.

If you think he's mistreating your mom, be respectful to him but definitely speak up!  If you keep reacting the same way, how can you expect things to change?

I suggest you ask both parents if you can talk. When you have them together you need to tell them both very honestly how you feel. You should not have to suffer in silence. Good luck.
