  1. of course can...There's no rules there that forbid passengers bring basketball

  2. Carry-on or Luggage ?

    Inflated or Deflated ?

  3. Yes you can bring basketball on the airplane because no restriction on bringing personal stuff.

  4. NOPE!! In ur luggage yes. ONTO the plane no

  5. Not unless it's in your luggage. Sorry.

  6. I had my bag searched at the airport once - they binned out my sealed bottle of water [the one that makes money for africa lol] and let me away with an empty glass bottle and some nail-clippers . I dont think that a basketball would be a problem as long as it was deflated x

  7. yes, i played basketball in high school. and when we flew down to state, we were all allowed to bring a basketball on the plane.

  8. Yeah if you pack it in your suitcase that goes underneath the plane. But I'm not sure about a carry on... someone could easily put a bomb in there.

  9. Hmm yeah but you would have to check it, but its really a waste of space, why dont you just bring 15 dollars and buy a new one.

  10. yeah you can, i'd suggest just puttin it in your suitcase.  planes let you bring a carry on item and a certain size bag, so i'd just pack it in your suitcase.

  11. i think so just deflate it first and put it in with your luggage

  12. yeah. if it's deflated.

  13. I think there are no restrictions against it but it would be a pain to have to carry...I would suggest just packing it, its not like you can use it on the plane!

  14. no

  15. yep as long as it fits in luggage.

  16. yeppp. if its deflated. but it'd still  arrive with you if t was in your luggage.

  17. Yes you can bring a basketball onto the aircraft with you: this is directly from the TSA website

You may bring items such as baseballs, soccer balls and basketballs through the passenger security checkpoint.  They will need to be screened through the X-ray machine.

  18. Nope

  19. i dont see why you couldnt it's a basketball

  20. If the cabin depressurizes it can be a problem so deflate it first!

  21. why do just dephate it then pack it away then once u get off inflat it again buy a cheap pump

  22. Just put it inside your carry on bag.. like a bookbag or something. you can usually check your airline restrictinos by visiting the website of your departing airport. Have fun wherever your going. traveling is so fun!

  23. Call the airline...

  24. Your best bet is to call the airline, or look at the TSA's website.

Basically you can't bring anything on that they think you could use as a weapon.  I wouldn't consider a basketball a weapon...then again some kid did smash one into my face when I was in jr high and gave me a bloody nose :(

One other thing to consider...ever carried a bag of chips onto a plane?  When the plane gets to its cruising altitude, the cabin is pressurized to be equivalent to if you're standing on the ground at an altitude of 8000' above sea level.  This means that unless you took off from somewhere way high up in the mountains, the air pressure in the plane is less than it was wherever you took off from.  So, the bag of chips will expand.  It won't pop or anything, but it looks completely stuffed.  So...your ball probably won't pop, but maybe let some air out of it just to be safe?  Of course, then you'd have to bring a pump, and they probably won't let you carry that on.

  25. a ball but not the basket xD

  26. I dont think you can like in the luggedge but you can in your suitcase

  27. My Cousin did it once,

but They didnt say anything to him

    you should try

    you got nothing to loose.

    i hope i helped.

    (:

  28. yes, just put it in a bag, like a duffle bag, or even a plastic bag. just make sure it doesn't run loose everywheree. people WILL complain, hah.

  29. yep

  30. i dunno....
