Can you please recommend a family friendly hotel in Paris or an apartment for rent..?

No too expensive and near metro ... Also does anyone know if we can get from the airport into town on the train/metro with a stroller?

  1. Yes, you can absolutely take the train or métro with a stroller. Avoid rush hour though if you can but parents traveling with young children are entitled to priority seating in designated areas, just so you know.

    consult a map or write the owners to see if close to the Metro.

    Be careful going from airport or into town with stroller... guard your valuables as pickpockets take advantage of you being loaded down.... just cautious not scared is all.

  4. My favorite little Left Bank Hotel, the Hotel St. Andre des Arts, was always where I stayed in the days when I was traveling with my daughter. Its centrally located and in a very lively area with lots of little restaurants and pleasant cafes. its a short walk (1 minute)  to the Odeon Metro stop.

    Mind you, my definition of "family friendly" and yours may differ. There are no TV's, no room service, no minibars, no soda machines and defintely no swimming pool or hotel babysitters.

    But the staff doted on my daughter, were delighted when she learned to speak a few words of French, and generally treated her like a little princess.
