Can you please recommend good home stays in Chikmagalur / Kudremukh?

A few of us are planning to getaway for a weekend to Chikmagalur / Kudremukh. Any recommendations on whats a good place to stay, how is the road etc? Would prefer home-stay info. Thanks a ton.

There are some good home stays in chickmagalur and in Kudremukh, it is Silent Valley,(Very Good) and most economical.

Please book in advance at Silent Valley and the approach road is good.  Calm and Serene. Nice food. I have stayed there and visited it several times.

Chikmagalur is  in india south zone. There accomodation in hotels is not an issue as there are plenty of information on resouce mention with facility of online hotel booking

Dial ' Any Time Any Where Tele.No.39999999 ' & give in ur requirements they will give all the details.  Visit Bhadra Dam, Mine Site with permission of course, Mangalore Port is few hrs journey & it has beautiful beaches.  Roads are bumpy.  Happy Holiday !
