  1. well..tricks...heard of the 4 move checkmate?

you know what..tricks are unique develop your own one, all chess player has their own unique one, my one is advancing my peice veru fast above the fith line in the 4th move. with my bishop queen and hourses, its a haste stratergy, while others develop their own one such as a defnsive barrir where the bishop is the top proity in protect the rooks....very hard stuff to explain..

  2. If you don't know all of the rules then it seems like a dirty trick when a player takes one of your pawns by empassant.  That is where on the the pawns first move it goes two spaces, and passes up a pawn that was in position to capture it had only gone one space.   That pawn can capture it on the very next move by the em passant rule.

  3. theres no tricks to chess just different strategys..my strategys are usually done with my castles and bishops...there is one trick it involves your castle and king but i forgot the rest to it..mostly bc i dont really see the use of it..developing your own way to play is key to winning chess you also have to think 2 to 3 moves ahead of the person your playing that will ensure a quick win...

  4. Tricks aren't the correct way to play a chess game. There are many opening traps, but the real way to learn chess is not to learn opening traps but to learn solid play. That way you'll be able to beat opponents who do know these traps.

To answer your question, though, I'll give you a few opening traps.

The first is for white. The Scholar's mate:

    1. e4 e5

    2. Qh5 (some black move to defend the pawn)

    3. Bc4 (any black move but g6)

    4. Qxf7#

If 3. ...g6, then white usually plays 4.Qf3, attacking that f7 pawn again. But if Black defends it  say with 4. ... Qe7 then the trap's failed and you have to continue normal play. Which is why it's good to know the game.

The second is for Black and it's called the Costage:

    1. e4 e5

    2. Nf3 Nc6

    3. Bc4 Nd4

    4. Nxe5? (if any other move, like 0-0, the trap has failed) Qg5

And here Black is attacking White's knight and g2 pawn. If white defends both with 5. Ng4 then black simply responds with 5. ... d5!, and wins a piece one way or another because the pawn attacks white's bishop and the bishop has a discovered attack on the knight.

Last I have another trap for white called the Fried Liver:

    1.e4 e5

    2.Nf3 Nc6

    3.Bc4 Nf6

    4.Ng5 d5

    5.exd5 Nxd5?!

    6.Nxf7?! Kxf7

    7.Qf3+ Ke6

    8.Nc3

Black's only move here is Nb4 and with correct play the position often comes out equal. But chess players are rarely perfect all the time, and this line is sharp. If playing inexperienced players, they will most likely mess up.

Once again, though, I stress learning the actual openings and the actual game before taking advantage of these traps. It'll help you, in the long run.

  5. you can't do a trick and it depends what's your opponent going to do.
