I think most martial artists would have the same fears as unskilled people if mugged. I don't know any who got mgged but they are unlikely to be able to repel bulets - but could deal with guns if close enough. Why would you wanna know this tythough?

People are not invincible, no matter who they are, or what they know. Why are you asking this question? Are you trying to prove to somebody that studying Martial arts is pointless?

No I can't. In most cases a martial artist will not be attacked. People that mug people look for certain type of people. Studies has proved that a person that has been mugged, raped or abused is likely to happen to them over and over again by several people. Unfortunately, they are victimized again and again until they learn to fight back or carry themselves with confidence. Keep your head up and be aware of your surroundings. People with their head down aren't aware of the would be attacker making them a mark for an attack.

I cant give you sources, but I read internet news alot. And I remember reading about Urijah faber being attack by a few guys. And Former UFC 3 champion and ninjitsu expert was recently in the news for holding back two theives at a walmart. He is also a cop.
