  1. A subject is who or what  is doing the doing.  The predicate tells you what they do.

    I think that you have run the last two questions together.

    I'll help anyone, but I won't do their work for them.


  2. Sounds like you're getting others to do your homework....

    Every sentence must have a noun (person/place/thing/idea)

    and a verb (action word or words).

    That special noun WITH all of its modifiers are the subject of the sentence (Who or what the sentence is about, or is taking the action).

    That verb or verbs WITH all of its modifiers are the predicate of the sentence (action or state of being of the subject).

    (The last line is TWO sentences...)
