Can you pluck a chicken whens it still alive?

I'm going to do it so I can see a naked chicken but i was just wondering. Can i still eat it afterwords or does it cause some type of toxic shock to the meat.

h**l no you wouldn't if you were in my area i would contact the authorities and you would be charged with ANIMAL CRUELTY because that's what it is what you are going to do

This is my husband's area of specialty. He said that if you pull out all of a bird's feathers out while it's still alive, its body releases a neuro-shock blocker, (because of the extreme pain) which can be toxic to humans if injested.

ya but ur chicken wont like it n probably hate u

r u goin to pluck it then eat it or just plucking then eating it like the next day or a few hours later

it might not b safe to eat it after pluking it alive cuz the feathers keep the chicken's skin clean n the chicken without feathers will get he skin all dirty

n bsides u might injure ur chicken n it will get cuts becuz of u pluckin it

That is just out right cruel!!  Would you like somebody ripping out your hair?? If caught you could be charged with animal cruelty. If you want to see a bald chicken go on line, as some have been genetically modified to produce featherless birds.
